There aren't many actors who can claim a decade on the stage - but Sandy, a wheaten terrier, has done just that! He has appeared in 1,365 performances of Annie, using the vibrations on the floor to time his stage entrance. His reward for such dedicated service? A piece of sausage or cheese and, of course, his own dressing room. But his days of fame are numbered as the touring production - co-starring Su Pollard - ends on December 31. Most dogs love playing to a crowd and I am sure Sandy will miss the applause at the end of each performance and retire with great reluctance!
