Last weekend I stayed with a friend who I hadn't seen for nearly 20 years.  Seeing her immaculate cream carpets (carefully chosen to match her gorgeous cream Golden Retriever!), I offered to leave my hairy black threesome in the car.  Not a bit of it!  Barbara insisted they made themselves at home - and they took her at her word!  They raced around the house and garden; Rosco took out all Bella's toys and scattered them around; all 3 helped themselves to her bones;  Jay discovered her food bag and did her utmost to open it; after a walk on the sea wall they dried themselves on her bed - and generally left a trail of hair and pawprints throughout.  Amazingly Barbara has invited us again - although she says she is never going to have a black dog herself!  Such is true friendship....!
