Thank you so much to all those of you who have emailed asking whether I was OK since I had not updated my dog blog for a while ... I was very touched by your concern!  The truth was that I was taking a well deserved break - well, I think it was! - walking the dogs in the mountains of central Spain.  The weather has been perfect - temperatures of around 25 and not a cloud in the sky or hint of rain.  We have walked early each morning for about 3 hours and then again in the late afternoon for a swim in the lake.  My English vet worries that I over-walk 10 year old Titus but he has shown not a single sign of stiffness and both dogs clearly love their time there - even if it does involve a very long boring drive there and back!  I would not claim to be an expert on taking dogs abroad but we have been travelling to and from Spain for some years now and if anyone wants to know what is involved, please feel free to email me.  In the meantime, here is a photo of my two flat coats enjoying the view.....!
